A generous Oushak defined by a soft central medallion set against a muted, pale-blue neutral field and framed by a broad red border. Woven in wool, the surface shows painterly abrash and pink and gold highlights that read like washes of colour across the pattern. The geometry of the medallion and repeating border motifs remains clear despite medium distress, giving the piece a tactile, worn patina. An antique rug with quiet presence and visible craft, its scale is substantial and composed. Circa 1900 - 1920. Measures 11' 6" x 14' 6".
