This Oushak presents a softly faded field of warm beige punctuated by muted red and pink floral motifs, rendered in wool with low distress. A narrow golden-yellow border frames restrained rosette medallions and palmette accents while subtle abrash gives the surface depth and a tactile softness. The pattern reads calm and distilled, the motifs reduced to an elegant, quiet geometry. It carries the considered presence of an antique rug, colours mellowed but still luminous. Circa 1900 - 1930. Exact dimensions 2' 6" x 4' 8" confirm its intimate scale and balanced proportion.
