This Oushak reads as a study in restraint: a pale cream prayer arch and twin columnar palmettes rise from an airy neutral ground, set against a warm red floral-medallion border. Woven in wool, the surface shows medium distress and a soft, matte patina that unifies the palette and simplifies the motifs. The piece has the tactile presence of a well-worn heirloom, an antique rug where time has refined rather than erased the design. Circa 1890 - 1910. Measurements: 4' 3" x 6' 0". The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
