A compact American Hook runner woven in wool, framed by a narrow rust guard and a deep brown outer border. The cream field hosts a tall, stylized tree-of-life trunk with sprigs of pink, purple, pale blue and yellow flowers rendered in hooked loops; colour is soft and tactile against a neutral ground. The surface shows low wear and a warm, lived-in hand that reads as authentic craft. This antique rug retains clear motif definition and subtle abrash in the field, suggesting gradual dye variation over time. Circa 1910 - 1950. Measurements: 2' 1" x 3' 10".
