A stepped ivory medallion sits within a muted red field, the pattern traced in brown outlines and restrained floral vines. Dark spandrels anchor the composition while a narrow rosette border gives a fine, rhythmic edge. The piece retains a low level of wear and a soft abrash that reads like lived-in patina, the pile even and the colours mellowed with age. Circa 1900 - 1920. Dimensions: 4' 2" x 6' 4".
