This expansive Oushak reads like a softened heirloom: a wool antique rug with a pale neutral field punctuated by a warm red medallion and sparing secondary motifs. A broad, washed red border, tempered by cream and subtle sage, frames a geometric center while gentle abrash and faded details create a painterly surface. The piece shows medium, even wear, a low, tactile pile, and sympathetic edge fraying that together reveal a lived-in patina and the hand of time. Circa 1900 - 1920. Exact size 12' 9" x 15' 4". The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
