This Oushak presents a warm red ground enlivened by a restrained medallion lattice and trailing vine motifs rendered in cream and muted blue. The wool shows a soft, low-sheen patina and subtle abrash that reads as age rather than damage. A wide, geometric floral border frames the field with clear definition despite gentle, even wear. The palette is tactile and grounded; the hand of traditional wool weaving is legible in the softened outlines and measured colour transitions. An antique rug with calm energy and considered presence.
