An Oushak in generous proportion, 10' 6" x 14' 2", its coral field softened to a warm terracotta glow. Two muted medallions and scattered palmettes resolve in an open, allover composition, framed by a wide neutral-olive border and a pale inner guard. The wool surface reads tactile with even abrash; faded pinks, beige and sage settle into sun-warmed notes while pale blue accents lift the pattern. Surface wear is consistent with medium distress, giving the piece a mellow, heritage-worn presence. This antique rug keeps a restrained, design-literate palette and tactile depth. Circa 1900 - 1920.
