This Oushak presents a saturated red field threaded with warm gold and neutral ivory, rendered in soft wool that catches light with a matte, tactile quality. Three stepped diamond medallions organize repeating floral sprays while layered geometric and floral guard borders frame the composition. The piece shows low distress and a gentle abrash that reads as patina rather than damage; colours remain vibrant with a grounded, aged presence. An antique rug that balances graphic geometry and painterly wear, its wool pile retains a responsive, textural hand. Circa 1920 - 1940. Measurements: 4' 3" x 6' 6".
