This Oushak antique rug in wool measures 7' 6" x 10' 6" and presents a softly aged field in warm cream, faded blue, and muted brown. A central floral medallion is surrounded by spandrel forms, small geometric accents, and a framed border that reads with quiet symmetry. The palette has mellowed beautifully, lending the piece a layered, lived-in atmosphere. Circa 1885 - 1905. Its medium distress and timeworn surface add depth without interrupting the clarity of the design, making it feel both grounded and refined. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
