This Oushak antique rug measures 6' 8" x 17' 0" and carries a softened, timeworn palette of warm ivory, blush pink, and faded terracotta. An allover field of floral urn motifs is framed by a geometric border that keeps the composition quietly structured while remaining airy and open. The wool surface shows visible fading and tonal variation, giving the piece a layered, lived-in depth. Circa 1885 - 1900, it reflects the generous scale and restrained ornament associated with Oushak weaving, with medium distress that adds character without overwhelming the design.
