This Gharabah antique rug measures 3' 4" x 11' 4" and presents a long, restrained composition with a softly faded field and strong tribal geometry. A central row of stepped medallions is framed by dense side borders, where small-scale motifs in red, cream, white, and deep blue gather into a layered, timeworn rhythm. The wool surface shows visible age and gentle abrasion, giving the piece a dry, tactile character without losing its structure. Circa 1880 - 1910, it reads as collected and grounded, with a narrow palette that feels both graphic and deeply atmospheric.
