This Oushak antique rug measures 13' 2" x 16' 2" and carries a soft, timeworn palette of blush pink, muted gold, pale teal, and cream. A large, faded medallion settles into the centre, while geometric chain borders and floral rosettes frame the composition with quiet symmetry. The wool surface shows medium distress, with even wear and washed colour that soften the drawing without losing its presence. Circa 1880 - 1900, it reads as calm and layered, with the open field and tonal shifts giving the piece an atmosphere that is both gracious and lived-in.
