This Oushak antique rug measures 12' 9" x 16' 4" and is woven in wool with a softly faded palette of pink, cream, white, and warm neutral tones. Its broad field is quiet and atmospheric, framed by a weathered border of floral and geometric accents that remain visible through the wear. The central medallion is now partially dissolved into the surface, giving the composition a calm, timeworn presence. Circa 1900 - 1930, it reflects the generous scale and restrained colouration associated with classic Oushak design. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
