This Josheghan antique rug measures 14' 10" x 18' 5" and carries a layered presence shaped by time. A softened teal field is built up with faded rust, ivory, cream, and blue-grey, while the central medallion opens into a dense, allover surface of floral and geometric ornament. The border remains legible, though gently worn, framing the composition with quiet structure. Circa 1925 - 1945, it holds a balanced mix of pattern, patina, and light abrasion that gives the rug a grounded, lived-in character.
