This Serapi carries a bold stepped medallion in deep navy and rust, set against an ivory field traced with stylized floral vines and angular spandrels. Woven in wool, the surface retains tactile clarity and low loss so the warm red and brown palette reads with quiet depth. Repeating floral-geometric borders frame the composition, their softened edges and subtle abrash attesting to careful age rather than heavy repair.
