A Serapi with a warm rust-red field warmed by a deep navy central medallion and soft seafoam and cream accents. The wool shows subtle abrash and a restrained palette that reads tactile and layered, the floral vine motifs arranged around a formal medallion and framed by a dense floral border. Low overall wear preserves the clarity of the design while lending a lived-in softness to the pile. This antique rug measures 8' 6" x 11' 8" and reads as a quiet study in colour and craft. Circa 1890 - 1910.
