A quiet Sivas in wool, the field reading soft white and cream with an understated, mineral colourway. At 7' 3" x 10' 8", the design centers on a ghosted medallion and elongated cartouche motifs framed by layered floral borders. High distress has reduced contrast and introduced abrash, threadbare passages and softened edges that reveal the rug's age and tactility. The surface feels textural and lived-in, the drawing of palmettes and vines still legible beneath wear. This antique rug carries a restrained, architectural presence and a supple, low pile that rewards close inspection. Circa 1900 - 1915
