A Sivas in wool with a refined, allover floral field and a central round medallion rendered in soft greens, creams and neutral tones. The 13' 2" x 19' 8" scale allows the intricate palmette and vine network to read as a calm, painterly surface; borders repeat smaller floral medallions and guard stripes in restrained contrast. Low distress and even fading give the piece a tactile, settled patina that highlights handworked detail and woven colour transitions. This antique rug carries a considered age and measured wear, recorded visually as Circa 1900 - 1915.
