A refined Sarouk in a restrained neutral palette, this antique rug presents a richly detailed central medallion set against an ivory field strewn with sinuous floral vines and palmettes. Narrow, layered borders in warm brown and muted blue frame the composition, lending a disciplined, workshop-finished cadence to the pattern. The wool pile exhibits low, even wear and a soft abrash that brightens the ivory ground while preserving depth in the medallion. Circa 1925 - 1940. Measures 4' 3" x 7' 0".
