This Sivas runner reads as a study in repeated form and tactility: a narrow column of framed medallion compartments in saturated red set against pale neutral fields and warm tan abrash. Wool pile retains clarity in the central motifs while the surface shows low, even wear that softens outlines and lends a quiet patina. Multiple guard borders carry geometric floral motifs that reinforce the linear rhythm of the piece. Circa 1890 - 1910. Measurements: 3' 6" x 12' 7". An antique rug with presence, its wool palette and composed motifs feel both grounded and deliberate.
