This Ghiordes antique rug measures 3' 4" x 13' 3" and presents a finely ordered field of narrow vertical stripes in red, cream, white, and warm neutral tones. Repeating floral and hooked vine motifs run in bands from end to end, creating a rhythmic, textural composition with a quiet sense of movement. The border remains restrained, allowing the linear structure to dominate. Woven in wool, it shows low distress and a gently softened surface that reads with ease.
