This Sarouk antique rug measures 8' 8" x 11' 6" and presents a richly layered field of floral scrolls, palmettes, and small blossoms held within a bold border of repeating botanical forms. The wool surface shows a softly aged hand, with red ground tones tempered by green, teal, cream, and navy accents that lend depth to the composition. The drawing remains expressive and balanced, while the low distress preserves much of the original visual rhythm. Circa 1900 - 1915, it carries the grounded elegance and ornamental density that define the Sarouk tradition.
