The palette is softly aged, with ivory and sand ground tones lifted by muted terracotta, dusty rose, charcoal, and faded blue accents. A framed niche anchors the lower field, while repeating octagonal motifs and subtle zigzag lines create quiet movement around the perimeter. Circa 1880 - 1895, the surface shows medium wear that softens the pattern and gives the wool a calm, lived-in character.
