This Ghiordes antique rug measures 3' 7" x 6' 2" and carries a luminous, worn surface in cream, red, white, and muted pink. A large central medallion anchors the composition, while floral sprays and finely spaced border motifs soften the field with an Ottoman inflection. The palette has mellowed into a layered wash, with visible age lending depth to the wool and a quiet irregularity across the surface.
