The design centres on a layered medallion surrounded by scrolling floral arabesques and a scalloped ivory field; finely drawn floral guards frame the composition. Surface wear is minimal, yielding a soft, mellow patina that clarifies the design without erasing detail. This antique rug retains a tactile, low-distress presence and reads as both architectural and intimate. Circa 1900 - 1920. Exact size: 9' 4" x 13' 2".
