A generous Larestan in wool, the field reads as a softly faded salmon red, punctuated by scattered floral and paisley-like motifs that breathe across the surface. A broad blue-green floral border frames the field with elegant palmettes and arabesque cartouches, the whole softened by medium wear and subtle abrash. The hand-worn surface and muted palette give the piece a quiet, tactile dignity that speaks to age and use. This antique rug retains a warm, earthy presence and measured scale, 16' 2" x 21' 8".
