A Serapi of generous scale in wool, defined by a bold central medallion and layered guard borders. Soft neutrals and cream highlights are warmed by a faded peach wash while muted blue accents punctuate the medallion and corners. Surface wear reads as medium distress: gentle abrash and softened high points give the pile a low, tactile sheen and a mellow patina across the field. The graphic geometry and repeated palmettes remain clear despite age, lending the composition an architectural poise. This antique rug carries an earned softness and quiet presence.
