A narrow N.W. Persian runner with a dense procession of geometric medallions across a deep indigo field, rendered in cream, rust and teal on wool. The composition balances scaled medallions and small angular floral fillers inside narrow ivory guards and a warm rust main border. Surface condition is gently worn and even, preserving crisp pattern and tactile pile. This antique rug reads as purposeful and patinated rather than distressed; colour transitions are subtle and the overall expression is quietly graphic. Circa 1900 - 1920. Dimensions: 3' 9" x 12' 9".
