This N.W. Persian runner presents a measured restraint: a deep navy field punctuated by a procession of geometric medallions in rust, green and gold, set within narrow ivory guards and a warm red main border. The wool pile retains a tactile presence, with low distress that reveals soft abrash and a lived, textile patina. The composition reads as both rigorous and handmade, each medallion balanced by small floral and starlet fillers. Circa 1925 - 1940.
